Themes & Language
These settings affect the FriskyMouse settings window only. They do not change the appearance of the cursor effects drawn on screen.
FriskyMouse’s settings window supports three visual themes:
| Theme | Description |
|---|---|
| Dark | Dark background with light text. Default theme. |
| Light | Light background with dark text. |
| High Contrast | Maximum contrast for accessibility needs. |
To change the theme:
- Open the FriskyMouse settings window.
- Open the Settings page and find the Appearance & behavior section.
- Select your preferred theme. The change applies immediately.
High Contrast mode is designed for users who need enhanced visibility and pairs well with the Windows High Contrast system theme.
Language
Section titled “Language”FriskyMouse currently supports two interface languages:

To change the language:
- Open the FriskyMouse settings window.
- Open the Settings page and find the Appearance & behavior section.
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown. The interface updates immediately.
- The language setting affects all UI labels, descriptions, and tooltips in the settings window.
- Keyboard shortcuts remain the same regardless of language.
- Documentation on this website is available in English only.
