Magnifier - Controls

Adjust the magnification level to zoom in or out.

  • Scroll wheel: scroll up to zoom in, scroll down to zoom out (while magnifier is active).
  • Settings slider: set a default zoom level in the Magnifier settings tab.

Choose the shape of the magnifier lens window.

Shape Description
Circular Round lens (default)
Rectangular Square/rectangular lens

Configure the lens shape in the Magnifier settings tab.

Resize the magnifier lens window.

  • Configure the default lens radius in settings (range: 50–600 px, default: 150 px).
  • Ctrl + Scroll wheel: resize the lens while the magnifier is active.
  • The lens maintains its shape when you change the zoom level.

Move the magnifier lens by small increments to fine-tune its position.

  • Use keyboard arrow keys to nudge the lens in any direction.
  • Useful for precise positioning without moving the mouse.

Reposition the magnifier lens freely.

  • Click and drag the lens to a new location on screen.
  • The lens stays where you place it until you move the cursor again (On mode) or automatically follows (Direct mode).

When On Mode is active, crosshair lines are drawn over the screen to help you aim before activating the magnifier. You can choose the crosshair style in settings:

None No crosshairs displayed
Black Solid black crosshair lines (default)
White Solid white crosshair lines
Invert Inverts screen colors along the crosshair lines

Drag Click and drag lens
Toggle Keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + Shift + M)
