Troubleshooting

Possible causes:

  • The feature is toggled off. Check the corresponding tab in settings.
  • The opacity or size is set too low. Increase these values.
  • Another overlay application is covering the effects.

Fix: Open settings, verify the feature is enabled, and increase the opacity/size.

Possible causes:

  • Your recording software is using window capture instead of display capture.
  • The recording is capturing a specific window that doesn’t include the overlay.

Fix: Switch to display capture (or screen capture) mode in your recording software.

Possible causes:

  • Multiple effects running simultaneously with high-quality settings.
  • The Magnifier is using a high image quality mode at a large lens size.

Fix: Lower the Magnifier image quality or reduce the lens size. Disable effects you’re not currently using.

Possible causes:

  • Another application has registered the same keyboard shortcut.
  • FriskyMouse is not running (check the system tray).

Fix: Change the hotkey to a different key combination in settings, or close the conflicting application.

Possible causes:

  • The settings folder has restricted write permissions.
  • Antivirus software is blocking file writes.
