Magnifier
The Magnifier provides a floating zoom lens that magnifies the area around your cursor. It’s ideal for showing fine details (small text, UI controls, code, or design elements) to an audience that may not be able to see them at normal size.

Activation Modes
Section titled “Activation Modes”The Magnifier has two activation modes that control what happens when you press the magnifier hotkey.
On Mode (Crosshairs Targeting)
Section titled “On Mode (Crosshairs Targeting)”On Mode is a two-step activation: pressing the hotkey first shows a crosshairs overlay that follows the cursor. You aim with the crosshairs and click to place the magnifier lens at that position. This is the default mode.
- Press the hotkey (
Ctrl + Shift + M). A full-screen crosshairs overlay appears. - Move the cursor to aim at the target.
- Click to activate the magnifier lens at the cursor position.
- Press
Escapeto cancel without magnifying.
Best for: precision targeting of small UI elements, demos where you want to position the lens deliberately before zooming.
Direct Mode
Section titled “Direct Mode”When On Mode is disabled, the hotkey immediately activates the magnifier lens at the current cursor position, no crosshairs, no click needed. The lens follows the cursor while active.
- Press the hotkey. The lens appears instantly.
- Move the cursor to move the lens.
- Press the hotkey again or press
Escapeto exit.
Best for: fast activation during live walkthroughs, scanning content, or any workflow where you want to minimize the number of inputs.
Switching Between Modes
Section titled “Switching Between Modes”Toggle On Mode on or off in the Magnifier settings tab. The toggle is labeled On Mode (enabled = crosshairs-first, disabled = direct activation).
